Russ Dellen Memorial Loop 2013

The Russ Dellen Memorial Loop is a public ride open to all types of motorcycles. This is the 20th year for the ride and the fourth year to be named for Russ Dellen. The Dellen Memorial Loop is changing this year. We are riding from Harley Davidson of Indy to Anderson for food, fun and music at Hoosier Park and Casino. Then an escorted ride back to downtown Indianapolis to our own private parking lot for the night before the MotoGP activities.

Thank you for your past participation in the Loop for LifeTM. With your involvement, we were successful for many years and exceeded our goals which were to; raise money for needy charities, coordinate a ride that was safe and fun and be fiscally responsible with expense management allowing us to give back over 75% of all funds raised during the years we managed the event (1996-2008).

The Russ Dellen Memorial Loop is a public ride open to all types of motorcycles. This is the 19th year for the ride and the third year to be named for Russ Dellen. The Russ Dellen Memorial Loop is also a philanthropic ride that is formed to provide funds to the following charities: Fairbanks, St. Mary’s Child Center, Special Olympics Indiana and Rock for the Cure.

The Loop starts at the Marion County Fairgrounds where the motorcycles head out for the I-465 loop around Indianapolis. The ride is fully escorted with the interstate closed to all other traffic during the event.

In 2011, over 1300 bikes completed the Loop with riders ranging in age from 30 to 60 years old. This year we are expecting more than 3000 bikes to ride the Loop.
